THE FAITH TO ENDURE⁣

+When disaster strikes, we tend to want God to immediately make everything better.⁣

+But God gives us the faith to endure and grow.⁣

+As Paul wrote to the Romans, "Suffering produces endurance" (ROMANS 5:3).⁣

+Knowing that, we can encourage each other to keep trusting God in hard times.⁣

+How can you encourage someone who's going through difficult times?⁣

🙏 Heavenly Father, I need Your help to keep going, even when it's tough. I want to focus on the things that really matter-the things that will last.⁣

Strength to Face Fear⁣⁣

+We live in times when the earth is filled with great fear, but God’s children need not be afraid. He is the strength we need to confront fear, move past it, and do all that God wants us to do.

+If anything in your life is causing you to fear right now, remember that God loves you very much and that His perfect love casts out fear (1 John 4:18).⁣

⁣

+God doesn’t simply give us strength; He is our strength! We don’t need to fear other people or what they might say about us or do to us. Since God is on our side, we can confidently trust that He will always deal with our enemies as we put our trust in Him.⁣

⁣

+Refuse to live your life in fear. Fear is from Satan, and it is intended to prevent you from making progress of any kind. However, the gift of God is faith, and with it, we can overcome all fear.⁣

⁣

🙏Pray: “Father, thank You for loving me and for being my strength. I pray that You would give me a revelation of Your love right now so that I can go about my day in perfect peace without any fear. Because You are with me, I don’t ever have to worry—and I want to know that in my innermost being. I pray that I will always choose faith over fear because I really do trust You! In Jesus’ name. Good Things Come to Those Who Wait⁣

+Spending time with the Lord and waiting upon Him may seem like a passive activity to many, but it actually sets God in motion.⁣

+Every time we create a space to wait upon the Lord, we create a ripple effect! To behold Him and remain unchanged is impossible.⁣

⁣

+When we spend time in His presence an exchange takes place; our limited human strength is exchanged for the unlimited strength of God Himself.⁣

⁣

+You will discover that, though what you’re waiting for is good, the process of waiting on God patiently and faithfully is already a blessing in itself! ⁣

+What is it that you’re waiting for? Whatever it may be, turn it over to Jesus, put your hope in Him.⁣

+Lean into Him and put the whole weight of your trust upon this promise of God and let Him show Himself strong on your behalf.⁣

+He is good to those who wait for Him and seek Him—trust Him and love Him. ⁣

Trust Him

+In the deep, he can show you why things aren’t working.⁣

+In the deep he can tell you to cast your nets on the other side this time.⁣

+In the deep, he can prosper you because you trusted him on the shore. We all want the miracle. We all want our nets to be overflowing.⁣

+When we allow Jesus to come and sit with us right where we are that accelerates us to the next level.⁣

⁣

+Allow Jesus to come and sit with you in your boat. ⁣

⁣

+There is nothing wasted in the waiting.⁣

⁣

🙏God, thank You that I am never alone. I know You are always with me, but sometimes I forget, or I get overwhelmed by fear.⁣

God will carry you

+Disappointment cloaks you like an oversized winter jacket. It swallows you up. You can’t sleep that night. You blame yourself. You blame God. You just can’t seem to shake it off.⁣

⁣

+Maybe you’ve been in this hypothetical scenario or in some situation that is similar. ⁣

⁣

+But, friend, remember this truth: God takes you through the valley experiences for a reason. Scripture reminds us in Isaiah 66:9, “In the same way I will not cause pain without allowing something new to be born,” says the Lord.⁣

⁣

+A place of disappointment can be a place of blessing. When He allows you to face discouraging circumstances, He has a purpose behind it.⁣

⁣

+The question is whether you are allowing God to train you in that difficult season of disappointment.⁣

⁣

+If you’re a perfectionist, perhaps this is when God is asking you whether your confidence lies in your own abilities or if you’re relying on Him. ⁣

⁣

+If you’re a dreamer, perhaps this is when God is asking you whether your dream has become bigger than God Himself.⁣

⁣

+If you’re a planner, perhaps this is when God is asking you whether you’ve charted your own life map or if you’re allowing Him to work out His plans for your life. ⁣

⁣

❤️Friend, as you walk through the valley of disappointment, know that God is your Good Shepherd. Know that His grace is sufficient.⁣

+The storms of life seem to come out of nowhere, often when things are going along quite smoothly. It is easy for faith to be thrown away at that moment.⁣

+A crisis tests your faith. Jesus wants you to learn to conquer your fears and trust him even in the middle of the storms of life.⁣

+Sometimes God calms the storm. Sometimes he lets the storm rage and he calms you.⁣

⁣

+God has a great purpose for your life. Let him guide you along the right path for you. You don’t have to go through life full of fear, because he is with you.☝️⁣

🙏God, life can be really hard at times. Help me to find joy in hard seasons because I know that You're using them to make me a better person.⁣

All Things Work for Good⁣

+Today, God reminds us that He is the Alpha and the Omega. He is the beginning and the end. He sees the big picture. Not only for our lives now – but for all eternity.⁣

+While you’re in the throes of disappointment, it’s hard to imagine that anything remotely good will come out of it. ⁣

+Today as you grapple with disappointment, remember this truth: All things work together for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose. (Romans 8: 28)⁣

+Sometimes, we only see the tangle of threads on the underside of the tapestry.⁣

⁣

+It may take us months or years to grasp the “why” of God’s ways. Or, more likely, we may only understand only when we meet Him face to face.⁣

+But when we trust God’s goodness, our disappointments are never dead-ends.☝️⁣

Using Our Disappointment⁣⁣

+But the Lord can be trusted to make you strong and protect you from harm.⁣⁣

+To recover from disappointment, we have to choose to trust God in the midst of it. This isn’t easy at all.⁣⁣

+It’s hard to feel like trusting God when we’re down. But, isn’t this the time to do it? It’s easy to trust in God when you’re experiencing good things.⁣⁣

⁣⁣

+It’s when our hearts are broken and we voice our trust and faith in Him that true trust occurs.⁣⁣

⁣⁣

+We must move forward and rely on God to bring us through our pain for He’s the only One trustworthy of caring for our hearts.⁣⁣

⁣⁣

+Consider these two things as you continue to press through your disappointment.⁣⁣

⁣⁣

+Worshiping while we’re disappointed allows us to see the hope He has for us and the eternity He’s waiting to spend with us.⁣⁣

+When we worship, we’re telling God that He’s good even though we don’t fully understand what He’s doing. ⁣⁣

⁣⁣

+Now is the time to trust Him to work not only in and through us, but to work in and through our disappointments to bring us closer to Him and the impact someone who’s coming behind us.⁣⁣

⁣⁣

+Let’s spiritually pay our pain forward and allow God to redeem every aspect of our lives. ⁣⁣

⁣⁣

🙏God, right now, I feel anxious and afraid. Please help me to remember that you care about me, and You will take care of me.⁣⁣

+God already knows all the things you are feeling, even when you’re overwhelmed.⁣

+He is a loving Father that wants to help you sort through the overwhelm to find peace in Him.⁣

🙏 Lord, I am overwhelmed by all that is happening around me and everything I am feeling. Please bring me peace.⁣

⁣

+When I feel weak, remind me that You are strong. And when I feel like giving up, give me the strength to persevere.⁣

USE IT OR LOSE IT

+God has trusted you with gifts and abilities, which he wants you to use. Use them or lose them. He is faithful to us and he expects us to be faithful to him.⁣

+Be faithful with whatever you have been given. It is no good wishing that you had been given more. You are simply called to do the best you can with what you have.⁣

+To be faithful means to use the gifts and abilities that God has given you.⁣

⁣

+God has had a good plan for you from the moment you were conceived.⁣

⁣

+God does not give us trouble-free lives. He does not answer all our questions. But he does reassure us that he is with us in our troubles. ☝️⁣

🙏 God, before the world was formed, You had a plan for my life. You have always wanted me to live in hope of Your good plan.⁣

+Please help me to have patience when Your plans don’t seem clear. Give me the faith to trust that You are working. In Jesus’ name, Amen. 🙌🤍

Trust God

+God meets us in our suffering and helps us grow in Him. Rather than viewing afflictions as His disfavor, may we look for ways He's using them to sharpen and build our character as we experience His love "poured out into our hearts".⁣

God knows your purpose

+God has allowed painful circumstances in your life for a reason: He wants to use all you have experienced to grow your faith and impact others for eternity.⁣

+Do not despise what you have experienced or what you’re currently going through, because God has great plans to use every hurt to bring people to Himself.⁣

⁣

+He wants to use your testimony to help others walk through their darkest times.⁣

⁣

+When people know you have overcome circumstances similar to their own, they connect with you and grow more willing to let you closer to their hurt.⁣

⁣

+From that place of empathy, you can point them to Christ, and they can begin healing as well.⁣

⁣

+God wants to use you. He wants you to be His hands and feet to lead others and be His voice of encouragement that offers hope in dark times.⁣

⁣

+He will create a ministry out of your misery. He will give purpose to the challenges you’ve endured.⁣

⁣

+Affliction brings us closer to God and strengthens our faith. Let God have your past, and you will learn all that He has planned for your future.⁣

⁣

+God will defy the odds in your life when you allow Him to move you from a victim to a victor. And you must allow Him to move; He will not force you to let go of your pain to experience healing.⁣

⁣

+While it may be the most difficult step to take, you can overcome any hardship when you realize the power of your choices, let God have your hurt, and trust Him to purpose your pain for His kingdom.⁣

⁣

+Don’t let past hurt or present fear keep you in bondage. God has so much more for your life—the life of a victor! ☝️⁣

⁣

🙏 God, thank You for providing for my every need. At all times, You are my source of strength, hope, and peace, and You have blessed me abundantly.⁣

+As we look at Job’s life, we see that strength grows through struggles, courage develops in challenges and wisdom matures from wounds. When God tested Job, his faith emerged as pure gold.⁣

🙏 Lord, Thank You for reminding me that You are my helper. You will not let me stumble or fall. You watch over and protect me.⁣
