HOPE

+In Psalm 107, the psalmist offers hope and encourages us to turn to God during difficult times.⁣

⁣

+He describes some who were in the middle of a storm, “at their wits’ end” (v. 27). “Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble, and he brought them out of their distress” (v. 28).⁣

⁣

+God understands His children will sometimes struggle to feel hopeful when life feels like a storm.⁣

⁣

+We need reminders of His faithfulness, especially when the horizon looks dark and tumultuous.⁣

⁣

+Whether our storms come as substantial obstacles in our lives, as emotional turmoil, or as mental stress, God can still our storms “to a whisper” and guide us to a place of refuge (vv. 29–30).⁣

⁣

+Though we may not experience relief in our preferred way or time, we can trust God to keep the promises He’s given in Scripture. His enduring hope will cut through any storm. ☝️⁣

⁣

🙏 Loving God, thank You for being my hope-giver no matter what’s going on in my life. There really is no one like You.⁣

⁣

+You are the one I can always trust and rely on. Thank You for hearing my prayer, no matter how big or small it may be. YOU ARE IN CONTROL OF EVERYTHING.⁣

+Have you ever encountered a storm that you knew was beyond you? Huge waves are coming at you, and you know you are no match for them when you find yourself at your wit’s end.⁣

⁣

+Let me tell you, your wit’s end is a good place to be—because when you’re at the end of yourself, that is where God will begin.⁣

⁣

+And in a way, that is what God is doing in our lives. He wants to bring us to that place of surrender so we can begin to see His power in our lives.⁣

⁣

+When we think we can get through something on our own, we find that we fail. But when we realize our great need, God is pleased with that, knowing we will be dependent upon Him.⁣

⁣

+The Lord will get you through those storms. He’ll get you through those difficulties.⁣

⁣

+He’ll give you the wisdom to handle that situation. Start with a sense of trembling humility.⁣

⁣

🙏 God, You are always with me and have an amazing plan for my life. Thank You for being my source of courage and strength.⁣

⁣

+Please help me today as I face new challenges. I know there is nothing I can't overcome with Your help. In Jesus' name, Amen. 🙌☝️🤍🪄

DON'T LET YOUR HEART BE TROUBLED

+There are times in your life when you may feel outnumbered by problems – illness, temptation, attacks on your faith and so on – but God is able to save you when he acts on your behalf.⁣

+However much you seem to be outnumbered by your enemies, when the Lord acts on your behalf you will be saved.⁣

⁣

+Trust God not just when things are going well, but also in the difficult times. God is looking for men and women of faith. ✊⁣

🙏 Jesus, I trust You. I don’t need to understand everything that’s happening—I just need to be still, and know You.⁣

+You fight for me. You died for me. You are for me. Thank You.⁣

+Wait on the Lord—because those who do will be strengthened! He will encourage the humble and give comfort to those who need comfort.⁣⁣

+To not wait on the Lord is to despise His Word, think lightly of it, or not consider it that important. Consider it important enough to wait.⁣⁣

+Believe He can work out what you are going through by resolving yourself to do the right thing. When you go the easy road, in the end, you hurt yourself.⁣⁣

⁣⁣

+When you climb a mountain doing the right thing, you will receive that strength when you wait on Him and honor the Lord with your life.⁣⁣

⁣⁣

+And when the winds of trials blow at you, you’ll rise above them as the eagle. Eagles fly at great heights using very little energy—eagles soar. 🦅⁣⁣

⁣⁣

🙏 God, even in the middle of hard circumstances, You provide for me. You protect me at all times, and You set me apart as Yours.⁣⁣

How to Look Up When You’re Feeling Down⁣⁣

+We may not always feel like praising God, but taking a few moments to talk to the Lord and thank Him for His goodness is one of the most powerful weapons we have to fight discouragement and depression.⁣

+We literally invite God’s presence into our situation, which brings us His strength, peace and joy.⁣

+Praising the Lord in the midst of our pain is the greatest thing we can do.⁣

⁣

+Because when we choose to fix our attention on God and rejoice in the good things He has done, we make Him bigger than our problems!⁣

⁣

+We can’t always change everything that is happening around us, but God’s presence will change us—how we think, how we feel, and how we view our circumstances.⁣

⁣

+The next time you encounter a situation that threatens to pull you down, make a decision to turn to the Holy Spirit and allow Him to fill you with hope.⁣

⁣

+Choose to believe whatGodsays instead of your feelings. Fill your mind and mouth with positive, hopeful things from God’s Word.⁣

+Have you ever spoken with someone and they told you a story about how they walked through a terrible situation, and they made it?⁣⁣

+That is grace, my friend. The ability to walk through absolutely awful things and come out knowing God better than before is a true gift.⁣⁣

+I want to encourage you today, no matter your situation, to press in toward God.⁣⁣

⁣⁣

+Tell Him, openly and honestly, about every feeling going on inside you - worry, anger, fear, disappointment, shame...⁣⁣

+He can handle it! And not only that, but He can fix it! His desire is to help you!⁣⁣

TRUST GOD'S PLAN

BELIEVE

+There are times in our lives when we are desperate for healing – either for others, or for ourselves.⁣⁣

+In this life our prayers for healing will not always be answered. Unanswered prayer can be a difficult and painful thing to wrestle with.⁣⁣

⁣⁣

+Hope means having a positive mindset or attitude. The hopeful person absolutely refuses to be negative in any way.⁣⁣

⁣⁣

+Although they recognize and deal with the storms of life, they remain hopeful in thought, attitude and conversation.⁣⁣

⁣⁣

+When we worship God, we invite His presence into our lives.⁣⁣

⁣⁣

+He replaces our discouragement and sadness with His joy and peace…giving us hope and breathing new life into our situation. ☝️⁣⁣

⁣⁣

🙏 God, please help me. When I’m overwhelmed and tired, show me how to run to You. Give me the strength I need to endure whatever comes my way.⁣⁣

Brimming with Hope⁣

+For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.⁣

+Maybe it’s hard to imagine yourself as a positive, faith-filled person, full of hope. ⁣

⁣

+Some people are simply afraid to hope because they have experienced so many negative circumstances and they don’t think they can face any more pain.⁣

⁣

+But no matter what you’ve been through, God has so much good in store for you! He is “the God of hope,” full of mercy and new beginnings (see Romans 15:13).⁣

⁣

+And with Him, it’s never too late to start believing, anticipating, hoping and expecting that things will get better.⁣

⁣

+Maybe you’re struggling with intense sadness or a bitter disappointment and can’t imagine anything getting better.⁣

⁣

+The enemy wants to convince you that things will never change. But God wants you to know that He loves you, and you can trust Him to make a miracle out of your mess.⁣

⁣

+Hope says: “Things may have been this way for a long time, but God is the God of the impossible, and things can change.”⁣

⁣

+When you’re going through a really difficult time or have experienced pain in the past, it can be easy to expect more of the same.⁣

⁣

+But today, God is asking you to place your hope in Him—to expect and believe that He is greater than what you’re going through, and He can even take the bad things that have happened and work them out for your good.⁣

⁣

🙏 Father, I know You have a good plan for my life, and today I choose to place my hope in You.⁣

⁣

+Right now, right in the midst of what I’m dealing with, please help me to expect good things for my future.⁣

⁣

+Help me to see beyond what I’m feeling and place my trust in You, the anchor of my soul.⁣

⁣

What to Do When Things Seem Hopeless⁣⁣

+We all get hurt and go through hard times, and sometimes we find ourselves in desperate situations, wondering if we can keep going or make it through.⁣⁣

⁣⁣

+But I want you to know that no matter how deep your pain is, or what you’ve been through, there is hope.⁣⁣

⁣⁣

+At this moment, you may be facing what seems like an impossible situation.⁣⁣

⁣⁣

+You may be struggling with feelings of sadness and depression and wonder if you’ll ever get past it.⁣⁣

⁣⁣

+But I want you to know that God can bring change and make all things new.⁣⁣

⁣⁣

+He can take your problem and turn it into something good.⁣⁣

⁣⁣

+He can even work in your mind and emotions and help you to see things from a different perspective.⁣⁣

⁣⁣

+Even when it seems there is no way, God can make a way. Because He’s the God of the impossible, and He’s the One who can make a miracle out of any situation (see Matthew 19:26).⁣⁣

⁣⁣

🙏 Father, I need You now. You say You love me and see exactly where I am…and in spite of how I feel, I choose to believe Your Word.⁣⁣

⁣⁣

+In the face of all I am going through, I look to You for help. I need Your strength to deal with everything that feels too big for me right now.⁣⁣

⁣⁣

+Help me to keep my eyes on You. Please make Yourself real to me…and encourage me for the road ahead.⁣⁣
