DON'T GIVE UP

🙏 God, I am in awe of You! The problems of the world around me can be frightening, but You are greater than my problems.⁣

+I'm so grateful I can always count on You. Your will is perfect, and Your plans are good.⁣

Prayer

🙏 God, sometimes the trials I face seem unbearable. Please give me the strength to persevere, and help me as I grow in faith and develop into the fruit-bearing believer that You’ve called me to be.⁣

+Thank You for everything You've given me. Some people may have more than I do, but I know that You will provide me with more than enough.⁣

⁣

❦ Sometimes it’s easy to praise the victories and triumphs in our lives without similarly acknowledging that growth in our character often comes through time and struggle.⁣

❦ God will sometimes allow us to go through challenges and hardships so that we can be molded into who He’s called us to be.⁣

⁣

❦ He waits in anticipation for us to come out of the trials of life “mature and complete, not lacking anything”.⁣

⁣

❦ By staying grounded in Jesus, we can persevere through any challenge, growing stronger and ultimately allowing the fruit of the Spirit to blossom in our lives (Galatians 5:22–23). ⁣

⁣

❦ His wisdom gives us the nourishment we need to truly flourish each and every day (John 15:5).⁣

⁣

🙏 God, thank You for always looking out for me when I feel lost or overwhelmed.⁣

⁣

❦ Today, I am stuck in something that is too big for me to overcome on my own. But nothing is too big for You.⁣

Give me STRENGTH Lord

+Do you ever find yourself in a situation where you know the right thing to do, but you also know that the right thing is very difficult and costly? Are you sometimes tempted to take the easy way out?⁣

+You will never face as great a challenge as Jesus faced. But there will be times in your life when God asks you to choose his will over what you want to do.⁣

⁣

+In every sacrifice, great or small, ask for God’s strength to choose his will over your own, as Jesus did.⁣

⁣

🙏 God, You are well-acquainted with my struggles, and they don’t scare or shock You. Instead, You seem to view them as opportunities to strengthen me and show off Your glory through me.⁣

+So today, I choose to bring my struggles to You. I will rejoice even as I encounter hard times—because I know You are refining me and giving me the strength to endure. Thank You! In Jesus’ name, Amen. 🙌☝♥︎

God's Will

+No matter how bad your circumstances, if you can ask to see God’s perspective, your wait will have purpose because you will grow. ⁣

🙏 Heavenly Father, thank You for coming to my aid so many times. Help me to know I can face any battle with You by my side.⁣

+Not my will but Yours be done. This is easy to say, but so much harder to live out-so please help me.⁣

+God designed you with a purpose in mind. God loves you. He has a specific, unique and glorious destiny for you.⁣

+He promises to guide you. God’s purpose for you is bigger than your mistakes. I have made many mistakes in my life, but God has not stopped guiding me. ⁣

+When it’s time for your wait to end, God will be the one who orchestrates it in His perfect timing, not a day beforehand.⁣

+After all, you don’t want to get ahead of God and miss His very best. When God accomplishes it, He will receive all of the glory, not you! And isn’t that how you want it to be?⁣

+While you are waiting and seeking the Lord, keep an eye out and ask the Lord to give you spiritual eyes as you wait.⁣

⁣

+You don’t want to miss any detail of what He may be doing to lead you to your destiny. A phone call, a tweet, a perfectly timed introduction could very well involve the Master’s hand.⁣

+You’ll want to remember these details when you are telling your amazing story of God’s deliverance one day!⁣

🙏 God, thank You for being patient with me. Despite all the mistakes I make, You are a loving Father who forgives me.⁣

How to Count Trials as Joy⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣

+When we find ourselves in the midst of unfortunate situations, it's easy to become so fixated on our Problems that we begin to lose perspective.⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣
+If we say we love God but we allow our circumstances to dictate our responses, then we might have more faith in our circumstances than in our God.⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣
+God will never tempt us, but if He allows us to experience a trial, then He will give us the strength to endure it.⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣
+And as we endure, our character is refined-and the refining of our character is a good and perfect gift. While God does not create pain, He will use it for His glory and our good.⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣
+And if the pain results in something good for us-like the purification of our character and a deeper intimacy with God-then we can actually rejoice in the midst of suffering.⁣⁣⁣

+When we view trials from that perspective, our suffering becomes a way for us to worship God.⁣⁣⁣

+And as we worship Him, our hearts become realigned with His heart.⁣⁣⁣

+So today, ask God to give you the strength to endure the trials you are currently walking through.⁣⁣⁣

God's Got You

+God is in control. God is just. God is good, all the time. And all the time, God is good.⁣⁣⁣⁣

+You want to trust God through it all, but it’s hard to understand what He’s doing. Some might question God’s goodness. Some might ask if God really cares.⁣⁣⁣⁣

+You just want to know why He hasn’t taken care of you the way a Father should. You don’t expect things to be painless or easy. You just want assurance that God’s really got you.⁣⁣⁣⁣

+Are you in that place right now? You’re crying out: God, I believe—but I just don’t see. Don’t give up. Keep seeking His face. Ask Him for a deeper awareness of His presence.⁣⁣⁣⁣

+Maybe you’ve been so beaten down, you’d rather just throw your hands up and walk away. You can’t see a path forward, so you’re looking for a way out.⁣⁣⁣⁣

+If that’s where you are, I feel you. But at some point, you need to come to terms with your expectations.⁣⁣⁣⁣

+Nothing in life is going to be everything you hoped it would be. Everything is broken, everything is tainted, even justice—especially justice.⁣⁣⁣⁣

+You shouldn’t expect it to be otherwise, even if you’ve gotten it worse than other people.⁣⁣⁣⁣

+You can want it to be better, yes. You can get on your knees and pray that justice is served. Amen. You can get up and start praying with your feet to work toward a better future. Amen, Amen. But what you can’t do is lose hope.⁣⁣⁣⁣

+No matter what, we must not lose hope. ☝️⁣⁣⁣⁣

🙏 Father, I come to You broken. I’ve got wounds and scars no one but You can see. Heal me, Lord. Restore me.⁣⁣⁣⁣

GLORY TO GOD

+A feeling of being cared for and supported can help sustain us when we're facing a challenge.⁣

⁣

+An awareness of God's presence and support can especially bring hope to encourage our spirit.⁣

⁣

+Psalm 46, a favorite of many people going through trials, reminds us: "God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble" and "Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted in the earth. The Lord Almighty is with us" (vv. 1, 10-11).⁣

⁣

+Reminding ourselves of God's promises and His presence with us can be a means to help renew our hearts and give us the courage and confidence to go through hard times. ☝️⁣

⁣

🙏 I'm grateful, God, for Your presence and Your promises. May I live out an attitude of confidence in You and Your ability to sustain me. Doing the right thing isn't always easy. Thank You for Your grace and forgiveness.⁣

Patient Endurance 💪⁣⁣⁣⁣

+When we become Christians, we might be tempted to cling to a false belief that our lives will be problem-free. But the truth is: everyone experiences suffering.⁣⁣

+However, when you belong to Jesus, you don't go through painful situations alone. And whatever hardships you face-it's not the end of your story.⁣⁣

⁣⁣

+God sees us on the best and worst days of our lives, but His love for us does not change. He understands our deepest suffering because He experienced it Himself when He became Immanuel, "God with us."⁣⁣

⁣⁣

+When we feel overwhelmed by our circumstances, God can show us how to find rest. When we give our burdens to Him, He can refresh our heavy hearts.⁣⁣

⁣⁣

+God can handle our pain because He understands our hardships.⁣⁣

⁣⁣

+He is trustworthy and faithful. Even when our circumstances feel dark and hopeless - we can trust that He will carry us through every situation.⁣⁣

⁣⁣

+Suffering is a part of being human, but we honor God by handing our hardships over to Him, and looking for the ways that He is at work in our situations.⁣⁣

⁣⁣

+Today, spend some time with God and talk to Him about your hurts. Ask Him to comfort you, and tell Him what you need in order to face your circumstances with courage and strength.⁣⁣

🙏 God, when I experience suffering, I have the opportunity to glorify You with my words and actions.⁣⁣

+Help me to recognize the grace You give to help me through my circumstances.⁣⁣
