+God’s primary concern is changing our hearts more than our circumstances (even if He changes those as well).
+The Lord doesn’t promise an absence of trials in the world, but He does promise us His constant presence; help; and yes, perfect peace! in those trials.
+Jesus speaks to your heart, saying, “‘Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.’” (John 14:27)
+The Bible also promises, “You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You.” (Isaiah 26:3)
+Your peace is complete when it’s fully dependent on Him. He freely gives it to you even in the midst of chaos.
+In Him, you’re like that mother bird hidden in the rock’s cleft behind the raging waterfall: fully at rest!
๐Jesus—Prince of Peace—thank You for being more powerful than all my worries, for being my shield, and the one I can trust with all my anxious thoughts.
+As I wake up each morning, I ask that You will fill me with Your abundant peace and give me the courage to face any obstacle. I give You control over my life. Amen.๐☝️๐ค
