Choosing to Pray

💌 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 is a full sentence, but it's packed full of powerful commands:⠀

Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.⠀

⠀

+When we create space to listen to God, we create space to receive from Him, and remember who He is and all that He has done for us.⠀

⠀

+There is little room for worry and fear when we are talking to Him about our problems, and actively giving Him our concerns. ⠀

⠀

+Today, let's posture ourselves to be in constant communication with our Heavenly Father.⠀

⠀

+When your hope is in God, He replaces discouragement with confidence so that what you're going through can become a path to spiritual growth. 😊⠀

🙏 God, I am so grateful that right now—I am talking to You. Thank You for making it possible for me to have conversations with You.⠀

+And thank You for inviting me to come just as I am before You. Today, please keep my thoughts focused on You. In Jesus' name, Amen. ☝️🙌🪄🍂🤎
